Description: Appointments are available at the Navy and Marine Corp Public Health Center, Portsmouth, Virginia. The participants will assist the EpiData Center at NMCPHC. The EpiData Center provides consultation, technical assistance and state of the art expertise in epidemiology and biostatistics in support of the Department of Navy. This appointment includes, but is not limited to, the following: • Designing and conducting epidemiologic studies • Providing assistance for ongoing epidemiological investigations • Identifying and monitoring critical outcomes measures • Using databases to respond to requests for disease or injury rate information • Evaluating prevention/health intervention program effectiveness
   
Compensation: $40-55K depending upon experience and education to include health benefits relocation assistance.
Qualifications: Applicants should have received a Masters degree in Epidemiology, Public Health, Biostatistics or related discipline within three years of the desired starting date, or completion of all requirements for the degree should be expected on or about the starting date.
Start Date: 02/01/2010
