Description: We are seeking a Wellness/Clinical Coordinator to oversee the Wellness Program, a program which provides women’s healthcare services three times per week, health education on a broad range of topics in agency and community settings, and linkages to low cost mammography screening. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: oversee day-to-day operations of the Wellness clinic and staff; enhance clinic forms and protocols; research and propose additional grants that would support the objectives of the Wellness Program as well as prepare responses to RFP’s and letters of inquiry; plan and implement seminars and workshops on health issues determined by grants or identified as needed in the community; and build relationships with agencies to increase client base.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in nursing, health administration, public health, health education or a related field and have an understanding of the allopathic medical model, preferably including a background in medicine. Demonstrated experience in a clinical setting is a must. Those candidates with a BSN/ RN, NP or PA certification are strongly preferred. A demonstrated background in the management of a team is required. Must have the ability to interface effectively with medical, mental health and social service providers and members of the health care community and the ability to develop and foster partnerships with social service and medical agencies/organizations/providers. A candidate with the combination of a clinical and community Health/Health administration background that takes a holistic approach to client services is the most ideal. Must have excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills and experience conducting educational presentations.
