The Health Educator provides educational services on the various health promotion/education programs designed to increase awareness and knowledge for the improvement of health in a community. Provides individual and group health intervention activities at various community-based locations.

| Qualifications: |
· Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Masters in Public Health preferred.
· At least 2 years or recent experience in acute care/ambulatory care setting.
· Experience with facilitating health education programs for underserved populations.
· Knowledgeable of adult learning processes and techniques.
· Ability to use various computer software applications.
· Ability to teach diverse populations.
· Good communication skills (written and verbal).
· Good counseling skills.
