Description: The Program Coordinator will promote healthy eating and physical activity among families at risk for developing chronic diseases by teaching children healthy eating and exercise habits; by providing adults with the tips and techniques to improve their diets and increase their physical activity; and by promoting healthier environments. The Program Coordinator will coordinate the day-to-day operations of a lay-health education program. This will involve identifying, contacting, and recruiting community partners to collaborate with on these programs; developing and managing relationships with existing and potential partners and stakeholders; preparing program reports; developing and modifying program procedures; organizing and executing meetings, trainings, and classes needed to carry out the program; and making presentations to our partners and to the public. Programs take place in a variety of community settings.
   
Compensation: No Response
Qualifications: Bachelors degree, detail oriented, excellent presentation skills, and experience working with diverse populations. The successful candidate will possess extensive knowledge and experience with fitness and healthy living skills. Masters degree in health related field is desirable.
