| Description: |
Contract position working 40hours per week serving the Crater Health District. Provides health education services within the district in support of the cardiovascular risk reduction program. Characteristic activities include working within the community to provide current risk reduction information and encouraging positive lifestyle and behavior changes. Some of the specific duties will include: creating marketing materials for the program, recruiting community and faith based organizations for participation, conducting education workshops, conducting health screenings such as body mass index, cholesterol and blood pressure. |

As above. Requires weekend and evening hours.
Must possess or be eligible to obtain a valid Virginia Driver's License; district travel required. A pre-appointment national criminal records and background check are required. |
