Description: Under the supervision of the Project Field Manager, recruit, interview and track women for a research project that involves bringing an HIV/STD prevention intervention to pregnant adolescent women through a group model of prenatal care in 14 Community Health Centers in the New York metropolitan area. The goal of this program is to help young women reduce their risk behaviors and improve their health, and that of their family. This position is based in New York City.

Qualifications: 1. Six years of related work experience, four of them in the same job family at the next lower level, and high school level education; or four years of related work experience and an Associate's Degree; or little or no work experience and a Bachelor's Degree in a related field; or an equivalent combination of experience and education. 1. Experience working with issues of women's health, HIV/AIDS, STDs, teen health, pregnancy and parenting, reproductive health, sex education, sex and gender issues, behavioral health interventions, mental health or working in a research setting. 2. Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Women's Studies, Gender Studies, African American or Ethnic Studies, Public Health, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology or a related field. 1. Fluent in English and Spanish. 2. Willing to work full-time in New York City. 3. Good verbal skills. Ability to interact comfortably with research, clinical staff and patients. 4. Good with various computer programs and internet. 5. Ability to work independently, as a team member and under direct supervision. 6. Organizational skills. 7. Ability to work with confidential materials. 8. Preferred: Familiarity with database programs (e.g., TrialDB, Access). Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
